Agustín Cárdenas (Matanzas, Cuba, 10 April 1927 – La Habana, Cuba, 9 February 2001) was a sculptor linked to the surrealist movement. He settled in Paris in 1955 and was influenced by the work of artists such as Brancusi, Henry Moore and jean Arp. His sculptures, weather they are made in wood, stone or bronze, are conceived using organic abstract forms.
